Position Summary:Â
The Build Shop Assistant supports the Build Shop and Operations teams by assisting with core golf club assembly and finishing processes. This entry-level position is designed for individuals seeking to develop technical skills through structured, hands-on training while contributing to daily production and quality standards. Â
Under the guidance of the Build Shop Trainer, other experienced team members, and the Build Shop Manager, the apprentice will learn specialized build shop functions and gain exposure to multiple operational areas. This role provides a foundation for long-term growth and advancement within the organization. Â
Key Responsibilities:Â

Assist with golf club bending, ferrule turning, and detailed cleaning processes Â

Support build shop and operations activities as needed to meet production demands Â

Perform pre-shipment quality control, including cleaning golf clubs, applying shaft labels, and preparing products for distribution Â

Transport golf clubs and components between departments in a safe and efficient manner Â

Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment Â

Other job duties as assigned Â
Required Qualifications:Â

High school diploma or GED equivalent Â

Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform hands-on technical tasks Â

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality Â

Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively Â

Willingness to learn, follow established processes, and accept coaching Â

Dependable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling, including overtime during the week and occasional Saturdays Â

Familiarity with golf clubs, components, and industry brands Â

Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse operations Â

This position provides structured on-the-job training and exposure to a range of build shop and operational functions. Successful employees may have opportunities to advance into more specialized or senior roles such as skills, experience, and performance development. Â
The hourly rate for this role is $17.00 per hour. This is the hourly rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s particular pay position within this range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
