Job Title: Cafe Barista

Location: Colusa, California

Reports To: Operations Supervisor

Job Summary: The MACC Cafe Barista is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This position involves interacting with customers, handling cash transactions, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and provide recommendations on menu items. Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly.

Beverage and Food Preparation: Prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages according to recipes and customer preferences. Assist in the preparation of food items.

Cash Handling:
Operate the cash register, handle financial transactions accurately, and maintain records of sales.

Store Maintenance: Clean and maintain the store, including workstations, equipment, and seating areas. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.

Inventory Management:
Assist in stocking supplies and managing inventory levels to ensure product availability.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient store operations and a positive work environment.

Adherence to Standards: Follow operational procedures and standards for beverage preparation, customer service, and store cleanliness.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Basic math skills for cash handling.

Working Conditions:

Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Comfortable working in a busy and sometimes noisy environment.
