Job DetailsJob Location: Big Tex Wills Point - Wills Point, TX 75169Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $24.00 - $27.00 HourlyJob Shift: DayJob Overview We are seeking an experienced Quality supervisor to execute the plant quality program. The  Plant Quality Supervisor will review and analyze current Quality processes to identify areas that  need improvement. To resolve these issues, the Quality Supervisor will collaborate with other  departmental personnel to implement changes to increase efficiency while still maintaining  high levels of quality. The Quality Supervisor’s primary goal will be to ensure every product  meets all internal and external customer expectations as defined by specifications and  published standards.  Job Responsibilities Collaborate with the plant manufacturing team and operations staff to deliver the highest quality product possible. Implement and track quality assessments to ensure the plant output meets the customer expectations daily. Utilizing checklists, standard work, quality standards, engineering standards, and iAuditor templates to monitor the manufacturing process and report on plant quality KPI’s. Coordinate with the Operations Team to create and implement necessary and unified changes to improve plant processes, product quality compliance, and reduce costs. Train production staff in proper quality calculations (FPY, RTY, DPU) and basic quality performance trending using run charts and hour by hour boards as needed. Oversee the team that follows products through the entirety of the manufacturing process to ensure each step is completed as intended. Oversee detailed inspections of raw materials and final products and confirm they are manufactured to standard, as required. Monitor production and quality processes and troubleshoot any deviations resulting in manufacturing errors. Gather internal and external customer feedback to identify any gaps or changes necessary to improve products. Work with the Corporate Quality Team to support efforts to analyze and improve Warranty Claims data. Track, record, and maintain quality assurance data. Oversee Quality Inspectors at the facility to ensure they are trained, understand and are performing the expected Quality inspection and testing. Share Warranty Claims data with the Quality & Manufacturing team members to provide them with a Quality Scorecard that communicates their performance and that of the manufacturing processes at the facility. Lead/Facilitate Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis and Corrective & Preventive Action development and implementation with a cross-functional team to include validate of success. Give feedback and celebrate with the team.
