Analog Devices is seeking to hire a product engineer to support the development of RF/microwave designs to be used in Communications, Test & Measurement Instrumentation, Industrial, and Aerospace and Defense. Locations: US, MA, Wilmington 

  

Job Levels available:   Product Engineer.  To support product development of microwave and communication products within our RFS group under ADEF & Communications.  

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct analysis and testing to ensure product performance and reliability. 

  • Must have strong knowledge and hands-on experiences in µWave/mmWave measurement techniques and test equipment. 

  • To work on development, and implementation of new products from concept to launch. 

  • Design and develop required test hardware from concept to production for the new products. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product design meets customer needs and requirements. 

  • Create technical documentations such as product datasheets, user guides. 

  • Independently evaluate, select, and modify standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. 

  • Flexibility to work on a variety of projects with various levels of difficulty. 

  • Develop and maintain project work breakdown structures, schedules, and budgets. 

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. 

  • Continuously improve product development processes and methodologies. 

 
 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering. 

  • Knowledge of the basic concepts of analog RF and microwave electronics. 

  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. 

  • Knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis tools. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Proficiency in CAD software (PCB layout tools, Cadence Allegro) and other relevant engineering tools. 

  • Strong time management and multi-tasking skills 

  • Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. 

 

 

 

 

 

Desired Skill Set: 

  • Knowledge of the basic concepts of analog RF and microwave electronics. 

  • Coursework or exposure in one or more of the following Digital Signal Processing, Wireless Communication, Digital Communication, RF Systems, RF Circuits 

  • Excellent analytical skills: critical thinking, problem solving and data analysis. 

  • Familiarity with the use of programming/scripting tools such as C programming, Python, LabVIEW a plus 

  • Good initiative and motivation in a challenging environment. 

  • Strong team worker within multi-discipline and multi-cultural environments 

  • Self-motivated and fast learner with strong technical, analytical and communication skills.
