Nemours Children's Health is seeking an experienced and visionary Assistant Vice President, Surgical Services to lead growth, innovation, and operational excellence across a diverse portfolio of pediatric surgical specialties. This executive leader will partner with physicians, hospital leadership, and external partners to expand access, drive market growth, enhance patient outcomes, and build the next generation of surgical services across the Delaware Valley.

·       Ambulatory Surgery Programs and Centers 

Key Responsibilities

·       Develop and execute strategic growth plans across Surgical Services.

·       Lead operational and financial performance, budgeting, and resource planning.

·       Expand surgical programs, physician partnerships, and regional market presence.

·       Collaborate with academic, research, and clinical leaders to advance innovation.

·       Drive continuous improvement, quality, patient safety, and service excellence initiatives.

·       Build and lead high-performing teams across multiple locations and programs. 

What We're Looking For

·       Master's degree required; healthcare administration or business-related graduate degree preferred.

·       Significant healthcare operations and service line leadership experience.

·       Deep expertise in perioperative services, ambulatory surgery, and complex healthcare operations preferred.

·       Proven success leading large-scale growth initiatives, physician partnerships, and organizational transformation.

·       Strong financial, strategic planning, and change management capabilities.
