Nemours Children’s Health is seeking a Registered Nurse as our enterprise, Director for Value Analysis and Strategic Sourcing.  This will be a hybrid position.  This role can be based out of Nemours Children’s Hospital Wilmington, Delaware or Orlando Florida location.  This is a new role that will enhance / improve the value analysis process, as well as the Strategic Sourcing function.   

 

Primary Responsibilities :

  1. Lead enterprise Value Analysis program in pursuit of value, cost savings, standardization, quality, and safety.
  2. Lead and provide consultation to Nemours Children’s Health in the clinical review and evaluation of products.
  3. Act as a resource for Materials Management personnel, clinical personnel, and Value Analysis Teams.
  4. Assist Strategic Sourcing and supply chain operations in pursuing standardization and cost reduction efforts through clinical collaboration and participation in / leading Value Analysis Team meetings.
  5. Lead Strategic Sourcing initiatives to optimize third party spend and mitigate risk while ensuring reliable delivery of goods and services.
  6. Develop and execute category strategies for all commodities in alignment with enterprise goals and market dynamics.
  7. Conduct spend analysis to identify opportunities for value creation and ROI optimization
  8. Negotiate complex supplier agreements to secure favorable terms, reduce costs and manage risk.
  9. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including cost savings and vendor performance.
  10. Supervise and provide directions to Strategic Sourcing staff.

 

Requirements:

  • BSN, a graduate of a state approved school of Nursing.
  • Master’s degree in nursing, business, or related field, preferred
  • RN licensure within the state of Delaware or Florida, or multi-state Enhanced Nursing License Compact (eNCC).  Must maintain active and in good standing throughout employment.
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience as a nurse in an acute care setting.
  • Experience working with medical supplies, supply chain, and / or cost-benefit analysis.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel.
