ChristianaCare is seeking an Environmental Service Assistant I to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients, staff, and visitors. Schedule:
Full-Time (40 hours weekly)
Day Shift (7:00PM – 3:30PM)
Requires working every other weekend and holiday

What You’ll Do:
Keep patient rooms, offices, and common areas clean and sanitary
Maintain equipment and supply closets in a safe and orderly condition
Support infection control by properly cleaning precaution rooms
Respond to service requests via phone and app promptly
Report maintenance issues and attend training sessions
Uphold safety standards and confidentiality at all times
What You Bring:
High school diploma preferred
At least 2 years of customer service experience
Ability to communicate clearly and maintain a helpful attitude
Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift throughout your shift
Comfort using smartphones or PDAs for work assignments

This position has a starting rate of $17.32 per hour, regardless of prior experience. After six months of continuous employment, the hourly rate will automatically increase to $20.34 per hour. After one year of continuous employment, the hourly rate will automatically increase to $21.34 per hour.This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
