The Global / US Senior Director, Insights, Analytics & Forecasting leads an integratedĀ function that shapes strategy, quantifiesĀ opportunitiesĀ andĀ risks, and drives betterĀ businessĀ decisionsĀ across theĀ TA / brandĀ portfolio.Ā 

TheĀ role brings togetherĀ Business Insights, Advanced Analytics and Forecasting to provide a clearĀ externalĀ perspective, evaluateĀ strategic choices, andĀ supportĀ forward-looking business planning.Ā 

It combines analytical depth, executive influence and transformational leadership to turn insight into action, strengthen performance, and build future-ready capability through AI, digitalĀ innovationĀ and talent development.Ā

Team OverviewĀ 

This role leads the US and GlobalĀ TA / brandĀ Insights, Analytics & Forecasting team,Ā includingĀ BusinessĀ Insights, Advanced Analytics and Forecasting specialists.Ā 

The team is accountable for:Ā 

  • ProvideĀ an externally anchored view of markets,Ā patientsĀ and competitorsĀ 

  • Turn data into clear strategic choices and business recommendationsĀ 

  • Quantify opportunities and risks through forecasting and scenario planningĀ 

  • Embed AI,Ā automationĀ and digital capability to improve speed and impactĀ 

As a strategic partner to Commercial VPs and cross-functional leaders, this role ensuresĀ insights driveĀ portfolio strategy and in-market execution.Ā

Key ResponsibilitiesĀ 

1. Lead the Integrated IA&F FunctionĀ 

  • Lead Insights, Analytics and Forecasting as one integrated organisation with clear accountability and strong deliveryĀ 

  • Build a high-performing team and develop future leaders across all three capability areasĀ 

  • Set effective operating models and ways of working across Global and US teamsĀ

2. Shape Strategy and Business DecisionsĀ 

  • Generate an externally anchored point of view on markets,Ā patientsĀ and competitorsĀ 

  • Turn insights into strategic choices that shape portfolio,Ā brandĀ and investment decisionsĀ 

  • Ensure the function delivers measurable business impactĀ

3. Advance Analytics,Ā AIĀ and ForecastingĀ 

  • Use advanced analytics, forecasting and AI-enabled approaches to quantify opportunities and guide decisionsĀ 

  • Apply rigorous scenario planning,Ā experimentationĀ and data-driven evaluationĀ 

  • Translate complex outputs into clear recommendations for senior leadersĀ

4. Connect Global and US ExecutionĀ 

  • Align enterprise priorities with US market realitiesĀ 

  • Ensure consistent insight generation while adapting to regional needsĀ 

  • Partner across Commercial, Medical, Finance and Market Access to support executionĀ 
    Ā 

5. Build Capability and Lead TransformationĀ 

  • Modernise the function through AI,Ā automationĀ and scalable data productsĀ 

  • Build organisational agility,Ā experimentationĀ and digital fluencyĀ 

  • Coach leaders, strengthen the talent pipeline and lead change effectivelyĀ

Essential RequirementsĀ 

  • Bachelor’s degree in science,Ā businessĀ or a related fieldĀ 

  • Significant pharmaceutical industry experience, including commercial strategy, insights,Ā analyticsĀ or forecastingĀ 

  • Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary teams across Insights, Analytics and ForecastingĀ 

  • Strong strategic thinking, businessĀ acumenĀ and ability to shape portfolio and brand decisionsĀ 

  • Track recordĀ of influencing senior stakeholders and translating analysis into actionĀ 

  • Experience leading change, transformation and capability building at scaleĀ 

  • Experience with AI-enabled analytics, digitalĀ toolsĀ and modern data ecosystemsĀ 

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and develop othersĀ

DesirableĀ 

  • Advanced degree such as an MBA,Ā PhDĀ or equivalentĀ 

  • Experience across both Global and US marketsĀ 

  • Experience leading digital or organisational transformationĀ 

  • Experience across one or more therapeutic areas and/or brandsĀ

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $218,329 to $327,494. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.Ā Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Ā  In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles),Ā to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an ā€œat-will positionā€ and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
