Bring your experience, productivity, and commitment to quality.   THE DAY TO DAY Perform transmission diagnosis, overhaul, and repair on GM vehicles Diagnose fast & accurate to pinpoint the root cause and build a clear repair plan Deliver maintenance and repairs to a high standard—clean work, every time Tackle electrical, HVAC, brakes, steering/suspension, and general repairs Manage your bay efficiently—prioritize, stay organized, and keep jobs moving Coordinate with Service Advisors and Parts to keep approvals clear and parts moving Document findings and recommendations clearly with pro-level notes, no surprises, no confusion Perform quality checks so every vehicle leaves safe, correct, and road-ready QualificationsTHE RIGHT FIT GM Certified Transmission Technician Experience performing transmission overhauls and repairs Strong electrical and drivability diagnostic skills ASE certifications are a plus Valid driver's license Ability to consistently flag productive hours Hands-on knowledge of vehicle systems, plus the drive to keep learning Strong diagnostics—customer concern to confirmed fix Clear communication with advisors/parts and clean documentation Quality-focused execution: read ROs fast, work accurately, don’t cut corners Time management and productivity—estimate work and keep jobs on track Ownership mindset—work independently and take responsibility for results   If you're currently employed and simply exploring your options, we're happy to have a confidential conversation.
