CTG is seeking to fill an Infrastructure Analyst I opening for our client.

 

Location: Wilmington, DE
Duration: 8 months

 

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and technically skilled IT professional with strong time management and organizational abilities. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-directed, and capable of effectively prioritizing tasks in a dynamic environment.

 

This role requires a consistent on-site presence, working four days per week at the Wilmington Center location and one day per week at the Radnor, PA site. The Infrastructure Analyst I will support day-to-day IT operations, ensuring high-quality technical support across both locations.

 

The position is responsible for activities related to the installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure. The role ensures that systems and procedures align with organizational standards, enabling efficient support for staff and business partners.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and resolve help desk escalations based on established training and procedures
  • Complete work orders and service requests in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents; analyze and isolate root causes
  • Utilize and develop proficiency with diagnostic tools
  • Perform routine systems maintenance, including patching, health checks, OS updates, and validation of changes
  • Maintain operational and configuration standards; escalate anomalies to senior staff
  • Execute assigned projects and participate in scheduled evening support activities
  • Adhere to company risk, compliance, and regulatory standards; escalate identified risks appropriately
  • Maintain internal control standards and support audit and regulatory requirements
  • Promote a diverse and inclusive work environment aligned with company values
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Provide frontline infrastructure and technical support across multiple locations
  • Support hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software environments
  • Follow established SOPs to ensure consistency and compliance in IT operations
  • Collaborate with senior team members for issue escalation and resolution
  • Contribute to maintaining system reliability, security, and performance

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:

  • None

Education and Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years of higher education and/or relevant work experience
  • Strong technical aptitude and foundational IT skills
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Experience reading and interpreting technical documentation
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience communicating technical issues to management
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Associate’s degree in a technology-related field
  • Relevant certifications or specialized technical training
  • Ability to provide clear updates and status reporting on tasks and projects

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
