Purpose:

To provide support to the Mammography department

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Opens the office each morning
  • Greets and screens patients
  • Maintains office supplies
  • Schedules, coordinates and reschedules all patient appointments
  • Pushes orders to PACS
  • Handles daily add-on appointments and adjusts schedule.
  • Prepares patient paperwork
  • Documents results and notifies patients of mammography results
  • Process incoming mammography reports
  • Maintain daily log books for WH patients
  • Maintain log books for FDA inspection
  • Maintain department stock
  • Communicates with outside read coordinators at Delaney and NHRMC
  • Obtains mammography films from other facilities
  • Answers questions for providers and nurses
  • Maintains effective communication and interacts appropriately and professionally with all members of health care team
  • Obtains and updates HIPAA information
  • Ensures the office remains in compliance with ACR, MQSA, and WH regulations and policies

Other Duties:

  • As assigned by manager

Qualifications:

  • Customer service experience
  • Data entry experience
  • Record keeping

Required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • BLS/CPR Certification

ADA Physical Demands:
