Join DCI Engineers as a People & Culture Advisor (HRBP), partnering with office leaders to support a consistent, high-quality employee experience across our regional offices. In this role, you’ll contribute to key People & Culture initiatives while helping ensure our people programs scale effectively as we grow.
What You’ll Do:
In this role, you’ll work closely with office leaders and the People & Culture team to support day-to-day operations, enhance employee programs, and improve processes that impact how we attract, onboard, and support our employees:
- Support recruiting efforts by managing job postings, screening candidates, and helping ensure a consistent and positive candidate experience
- Partner with offices to coordinate interviews and maintain a seamless, organized hiring process
- Support onboarding efforts to ensure a smooth and welcoming new hire experience, including offer preparation, onboarding logistics, and new hire communications
- Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, including wellness, recognition, and other programs that enhance the employee experience
- Lead exit interview coordination and support offboarding processes, helping capture insights to inform improvements to the employee experience
- Help identify and implement improvements to People Ops processes to support consistency, efficiency, and scalability across offices
- Partner with and advise office leaders on performance management and employee relations matters, helping navigate challenges and support effective, people-centered decisions
- Support benefits administration, including new hire orientations and the annual open enrollment process
- Coordinate recruiting and outreach activities, including career fairs and university engagement
- Track and manage key People Ops programs, such as referral bonuses, volunteer time off, and donation matching
What You Bring:
To succeed as a People & Culture Advisor, you bring a combination of strong execution, sound judgment, and a people-centered mindset:
- 2-4 years of HR Generalist experience.
- Ability to build relationships and effectively partner with team members and leaders.
- Strong judgment and ability to navigate sensitive situations with discretion.
- Interest in improving processes and contributing ideas.
- Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of Outlook, MS Suite, and Adobe.
- Experience with HRIS and ATS software, and hiring platforms, such as LinkedIn and Indeed.
- Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment; juggle competing tasks and demands in the midst of frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
