 At Kovalus Separation Solutions (KSS), we are dedicated to transforming the landscape of separation technologies by leveraging synergies across membrane filtration, ion exchange, evaporation, drying, and other advanced process technologies. Our solutions support customers in the food and beverage, dairy, life science, and industrial markets by enabling product concentration and purification, removal of contaminants, recycling of valuable process chemicals, production of high-purity water, and treatment of wastewater for safe discharge or reuse. 


 Kovalus Separation Solutions (KSS) is looking for Production/Assembly Operators that care about building a quality product. We will provide on the job training and a great team atmosphere. The right person must be open to learning, taking feedback and be driven to be successful.  

 

This role is not available for Sponsorship. 

 

Schedule: Days : Sunday-Tuesday 6am-6pm and every other Wednesday 6am-6pm.

 

What You Will Do In Your Role  

  • Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures to perform the manual assembly of membrane parts. 
  • Use a variety of hand & power tools, work instructions and test equipment to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble membrane parts into elements. 
  • Operate simple equipment and sophisticated PLC controlled equipment. 
  • Perform data-collection and record-keeping when required. 
  • Move and handle materials and elements on the floor. 
  • Comply with all policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the KSS Quality/Manufacturing/Safety/HR Systems 


 

The Experience You Will Bring  

Requirements:  

 2-5 years experience in manufacturing

  • Maintain a strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment. 
  • Perform tasks such as lifting up to 50lbs, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for duration of assigned 12-hour shift. 
  • Wear all PPE which includes hearing protection, eye protection, and safety toe work shoes. 
  • Complete job functions in a wet environment 

 

What Will Put You Ahead  

  • Experience in using reading, writing, and math skills to perform manufacturing tasks. 
  • Membrane manufacturing experience 
  • Familiarity with personal computers

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and in proximity to loud equipment.
  • Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be able to see and respond to at-risk situations.
  • Must be able to wear personal protective gear when in industrial locations.
  • Must be able sit for longer periods of time as well as move about throughout the office and production, / laboratory environment.
