The Right of Way Project Coordinator will support real estate activities including acquisition coordination, document preparation, and stakeholder communication for utility, transportation, and infrastructure projects. As a Right of Way Project Coordinator, you will interface with the project team and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.Â
Essential FunctionsÂ
- Provide real estate support for acquisitions and other real estate activitiesÂ
- Coordinate with Right of Way Specialists and Admins to ensure timely document preparation and trackingÂ
- Assist in negotiating acquisitions/divestitures under supervisionÂ
- Prepare and review Deeds, Easements, Options, and AgreementsÂ
- Support property settlements and maintain accurate recordsÂ
- Attend project meetings and assist in preparing updates and minutesÂ
- Assist in preparing Comparable Market Analysis reports and just compensation lettersÂ
- Assist in reviewing title commitments and research county land recordsÂ
- Maintain project databases and shared drives for lease/license agreementsÂ
- Support activities directed by Project ManagerÂ
- Support permit applications and coordination with local agenciesÂ
Required Skills and ExperienceÂ
- 1+ years of experience in real estate or right-of-way coordinationÂ
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experienceÂ
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointÂ
- Ability to interpret and organize information from multiple sourcesÂ
- Strong communication and organizational skillsÂ
- Familiarity with land acquisition processes and documentationÂ
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholdersÂ
- Notary or ability to obtain one as requiredÂ
Preferred Skills and Experience Â
- Experience in land acquisition or real estate supportÂ
- Experience supporting Department of Transportation, Utility, and infrastructure projectsÂ
- Exposure to the Uniform Relocation and Real Property ActÂ
- IRWA coursework or certifications desirableÂ
