Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Point Coordinator in Wilmington, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a transportation location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and respond to security-related concerns. You will maintain a professional, visible presence, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with visitors and team members. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, patrons, and staff by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, transportation facility policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry credentials, and maintain visitor and vehicle entry records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-control incidents, unauthorized entry attempts, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations to help identify security-related concerns and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with the public, parking operations personnel, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, access issues, and observed conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
