The Senior Government Pricing Analyst is responsible for developing, analyzing, and submitting cost and pricing proposals for government contracts. This role ensures compliance with federal acquisition regulations (FAR/DFARS), company policies, and customer requirements while supporting competitive and accurate pricing strategies.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Prepare proposals for government and prime contractor customers, including detailed pricing models and supporting documentation
  • Price Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Requests for Equitable Adjustments (REAs), and modifications
  • Ensure adherence to FAR, DFARS, other applicable government regulations, and solicitation instructions, including Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (TINA)
  • Support compliance with Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and company Disclosure Statement
  • Coach contributors on BOE quality, data standards, and estimating best practices
  • Develop and maintain pricing volumes for competitive and sole-source proposals
  • Participate in customer negotiations as pricing lead, providing cost rationale and risk analysis
  • Support internal and external audits related to pricing and cost compliance
  • Partner with Contracts, Capture/BD, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Legal to align strategy, schedule, and compliance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
  • 5+ years in government contracting, pricing, or cost analysis
  • Experience writing cost/price proposal sections
  • Familiarity with Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract pricing
  • Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS, including Certified Cost and Pricing Data (CCoPD)
  • Experience working in the defense industry required
  • U.S. Citizen Required
