CTG is seeking a Software Engineer II to design, develop, and support applications, solving complex problems and enhancing existing systems. You will contribute as a technical lead on projects, guide less experienced developers, and ensure solutions are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business needs.

Location: Wilmington, DE
Duration: 6 months

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain applications using Angular 19+, .NET Core, and MongoDB/SQL.
Lead technical efforts and coordinate development tasks for small to large projects.
Prepare technical specifications, test plans, and documentation.
Collaborate with operations, development teams, and stakeholders from analysis to user acceptance testing.
Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, ensuring smooth application performance.
Recommend and implement technology, process, and policy improvements.
Support multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

Associate’s degree with 5+ years of systems analysis/application development experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong experience with Angular 19+, .NET Core, and MongoDB/SQL.
Familiarity with application development platforms and tools.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Strong verbal and written communication; experience presenting technical concepts.
Experience coordinating between applications and business units.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of banking application frameworks.
Subject matter expertise in supported applications and interfacing systems.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively on complex projects.
Proactive, action-oriented, and system-focused for projects beyond normal operations.
