Duties:                        

  • Develop product test solutions for High Performance Analog / Mixed Signal integrated circuits.
  • Design, develop and debug multi-site, cost effective test HW/SW solutions for characterization, qualification, and production wafer probe and final test.
  • Work with design engineers in defining/developing test methodologies, test plans, test modes, SCAN, and IDDq test.
  • Define test schematics, work with lay-out engineers in designing of Printed Circuit Boards multi-site test HW.
  • Debug test programs, correlate production test solutions to engineering bench measurements, and transfer production test solutions to offshore, high-volume manufacturing sites.
  • Engage and support local and offshore manufacturing to maintain production yield, high quality, and resolve product and test problems after production release.
  • Participate in New Product Development Teams and evaluation of new test systems for future applications required.
  • Manage and maintain projects schedules that align with product introduction and release dates.

Partial telecommute benefit (2 days/week work from home).

Requirements: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related technical discipline (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience in the proffered job or a related occupation analyzing and debugging analog and digital circuits.

Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section):

  • Demonstrated Expertise (DE) in Test Time Reduction and test optimization for Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Production Test solutions supporting device testing.
  • DE in testing analog and digital semiconductor devices on ATE platforms, using programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Visual Basic, and LabVIEW for test program development.
  • DE in creating schematics, PCB layouts, and component library parts using design tools such as OrCAD and Cadence Allegro.
  • DE developing both Test and Wafer Probe Test Hardware / Software solutions on commercial ATE systems, including Teradyne MicroFlex, Teradyne UltraFlex, Advantest 93K, and NI STS testers.
  • DE in developing, documenting, and presenting ATE product test plans, test engineering evaluation reports, and related technical documentation. Also performing statistical data analysis on large semiconductor datasets.
  • DE in supporting product release to production through collaboration with cross functional teams, including Quality, Reliability, Applications, Product Engineering, Assembly, Failure Analysis, and Operations.
