Primary FunctionĀ of SCM Forecast Analyst:Ā 

The Forecast AnalystĀ is responsible forĀ ensuringĀ accurateĀ andĀ timelyĀ forecastingĀ to meet customer demand by providing demand signals to downstream supply chain teams. He/she will lead the review and analysis of various demand signals, forecasting accuracy,Ā addressĀ root causes of discrepancies, and recommend process and systems improvements to enhance forecasting capabilities.Ā

Educational Background:Ā 

  • GraduateĀ ofĀ aĀ bachelor’s degree inĀ Supply Chain,Ā Industrial / Production Engineering orĀ related discipline in business or engineering.Ā 

Ā 

Experience:Ā 

  • 0-2 years of full-time supply chain or similar experience.Ā Ā 

Major Duties & Responsibilities:Ā 

  • Lead the analysis of various demand signals,Ā forecastingĀ accuracy,Ā identifyĀ gaps, and drive improvements toĀ attainĀ program goals.Ā 
  • IdentifyĀ process/system gaps in forecasting and drive strategic improvements and permanent fixes.Ā 
  • Analyze andĀ identifyĀ potential forecasting risks, proactively resolve discrepancies, and provide weekly updates to senior management.Ā 
  • Conduct deep dive analysis of ā€œat riskā€ forecasts andĀ identifyĀ trends in areas and/or causes of forecasting inaccuracies.Ā 
  • Evaluate all available options to improve forecasting accuracy on aĀ part andĀ customer basis and implement corrective actions.Ā 
  • Present recommendations for root cause elimination or corrective actions to process owners and SCM leadership.Ā 
  • Lead and manage approved projects based on recommendations, ensuringĀ timelyĀ and effective execution.Ā 
  • Inform and respond clearly andĀ timelyĀ to all queries from external teams and status inquiries related to forecasting.Ā 
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting efficiency and effectiveness.Ā

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functionalĀ conversationsĀ towards achieving strategic goals.Ā 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.Ā 
  • Highly detail-oriented, analytical, and organized.Ā 
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment to quickly analyze situations and make informed decisions.Ā 
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.Ā 
  • ExperienceĀ in Project Management.Ā 
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Ā 
  • Resourceful, assertive, and collaborative.Ā 
  • Excellent documentation, report generation, and presentation skills.Ā 
  • Proficient in data analytics using SQL, Tableau, etc.Ā

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $68,790 to $94,605.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.

  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
