- Case Mix: Urgent care, adults and pediatrics; minor procedures (I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, etc.)
- EMR System: Epic
- Specialty Backup Available: Supervising physician available offsite
- Support Staff: MAs: 1, Office Staff: 1
- Hospital Privileges Required: No
- Board: Board Certified required
- Licenses: Active NC license
- DEA: Active NC DEA required
- Certifications: BLS; DOT, PALS/ACLS preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 12 months of experience; new graduates not considered.
- Other Qualifications:
- Must be local to the area
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- Experience treating adults and pediatrics
- Ability to work as sole provider in high-volume setting; strong interpersonal skills.
- Provide urgent care services to patients of all ages (6 months and up) as the sole provider.
- Perform minor procedures including incision and drainage, laceration repair, and ear irrigation.
- Utilize Epic EMR for all patient documentation and charting.
- Maintain a positive, patient-centered attitude in line with FastMed's culture of high-quality community care.
- Collaborate with on-site support staff and offsite supervising physician as needed.
