ChristianaCare - Wilmington Hospital seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our 4N Medical Stepdown Unit. 

The Unit

4N is a Medical Stepdown Unit caring for patients with diagnoses affecting all systems: Pneumonia, COPD, HF, Stroke, change in mental status, diabetes, wounds, UTI, Pancreatitis, and cellulitis.  The patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.  The unit provides staff with various learning experiences in a fast-paced environment. 

Working on a mixed-acuity unit will enable you to become ACLS certified, learn from critical and emergent patient situations, and apply best practice techniques from evidence-based care. We encourage an environment of growth and expanding knowledge, promoting the clinical ladder, openness, and inclusivity. We have nurses who have been on our unit for over 15 years, and welcome anyone who is looking to find a place to grow into an excellent nurse.

Education & Experience:

  • Delaware RN License or Compact Nursing License.
  • BSN Preferred or commitment to obtaining BSN within 3 years of hire date.
  • RN with 1-2 years of experience in acute care or sub-acute care experience preferred.

Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
