About the Role:
Join our culinary team at 8207 NOMA as an Experienced Line Cook! This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a vibrant kitchen environment in Wilmington, NC. We are in need of 35-40 hours per week.
PERKS: We are a family business. You are treated as a person first and an employee second. Our hours are conducive for desirable work-life balance (9am - 7pm). In addition to hourly wages, our team splits all tips.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items to the highest quality standards.
- Prepare and prep recipes.
- Assist in the creation and execution of daily specials.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed.
- Adapt to changing menu items and customer preferences.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a line cook in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure.
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree preferred.
- Passion for food and a commitment to quality.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
