About The Position
 We are seeking a skilled Hospice/Palliative Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position in Delaware. This three-month assignment, starting 06/02/2025, requires coverage for 8a-4:30p on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with a minimum of three days per week. The physician will provide remote support to on-site healthcare providers, handling 20-40 calls daily related to hospice and palliative care. Responsibilities include advising on cardiac, cancer, IDT Alzheimer's, and ALS cases for hospice and palliative care teams. This role offers the potential for extension beyond the initial three-month period.

• Support both hospice and palliative care teams
• Utilize Netsmart software for patient management and communication
• Maintain clear and effective communication with on-site staff
• Ensure high-quality patient care through remote consultation
• Adhere to all relevant medical and ethical guidelines
Additional Information:
• Must be licensed to practice in Delaware
• Experience with telemedicine or remote consultation preferred
• Strong communication skills essential for effective remote support
• Familiarity with hospice and palliative care best practices required
