Job Description
L.J. Metal Works is seeking an experienced and motivated Ironworker Foreman to lead crews on structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects throughout the East Coast. Our office is based in Wilmington, NC, but our work takes us across the country with most projects located along the East Coast.

Responsibilities
- Â Lead and coordinate ironworker crews on active job sitesÂ
- Â Install structural steel, reinforcing steel, miscellaneous metals, and related componentsÂ
- Â Enforce OSHA and company safety standardsÂ
- Â Coordinate daily tasks and maintain productivity on-siteÂ
- Â Communicate with project managers and field leadershipÂ
- Â Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawingsÂ
- Â Ensure quality workmanship and project completion timelines are metÂ
Qualifications
-  2–3 years of experience as an Ironworker Foreman
 OR -  3–5 years of ironworker experience with leadership abilityÂ
- Â Strong knowledge of structural steel and miscellaneous metals installationÂ
- Â Ability to manage crews and maintain job site safetyÂ
- Â Willingness to travel for projectsÂ
- Â Strong work ethic and reliabilityÂ
