Main responsibilities will be creating customer value through establishing long term relationships that lead to overall sales and profitability. Excellent benefits offered. Responsibilities: Direct responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the New/Used Truck Department Ensures the strategic and operating goals and objectives of the New/Used Truck Department are met while meeting established profit targets Buy and sell used truck inventory outside of the CSM Companies network   Primary Duties:   Manages and plans truck inventory through trade acquisition and open purchases to ensure adequate stock and selection are on hand Provides truck appraisal values to sales department on customer vehicles Implements an effective sales and marketing plan and establish a successful strategy which meets both sales and company objectives Evaluates Truck Department performance against established department goals and profit targets, taking appropriate corrective action Consistently performs external environmental scans of new/used truck market and adjusts sales and marketing strategy accordingly to meet target goals and objectives Accepts or rejects all Branch truck deals proposed by sales department Develops and maintains a knowledge base of current wholesale and retail truck values Determines repairs and corrections needed to return and/or trade-in vehicles to salable condition Trains and develops Truck Sales Associates Assist in setting Matrix values each month Establish, develops and maintains contacts with wholesale truck buyers and sellers Coordinates and works with other Branch and department personnel to support company objectives   QualificationsAssociate's degree (AA) or comparable work experience Three to five years heavy duty truck sales or related experience Management skills to include strategic plan development, decision making abilities and program implementation Ability to demonstrate or display extensive product knowledge to customer and staff to assist with purchase decisions Must be highly organized, detail oriented and results driven Ability to prioritize and handle numerous tasks simultaneously Ability to work well under pressure while assisting a wide variety of customers (both internal and external) while fostering relationships with key industry contacts Effective written and oral communication skills Computer, mathematical and customer service skills Ability to bend, kneel, stoop and lift/move up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis Ability to work outdoors and in an environment with frequent exposure to weather elements
