The Nursery at Wilson Medical Center is comprised of a well baby nursery as well as a 2-bed level II nursery serving newborns greater than 32 weeks gestation.Ā  The nursery provides care to more than 800 newborns annually.Ā 

How you’ll contribute

A Registered Nurse (RN), who excels in this role:

  • Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
  • Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
  • Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
  • Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
  • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
  • Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

What we’re looking for- a compassionate nurse with a deep understanding of critical care principles and advanced patient monitoring.


Variable

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess aĀ  degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā  Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.

Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā  One year of experience preferred
