Job DetailsJob Location: 011000 - Wilson, NC 27893Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $35.00 - $40.00 HourlyJob title: Facilities Mechanical Technician Schedule: 1st shift, 40 hours per week, (alternating weekends, 40 hours/week) Pay rate: $35-40 / hour Facilities Mechanical Technicians perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and routine repair activities across facility infrastructure systems. Functional Responsibilities: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities (HVAC, boilers, and compressed air systems) Inspections on fire supression, alarms and emergency systems Ensuring facility compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards Completing GMP documentation and work orders accurately Replace motors, pumps, valves, belts, and filters Follow LOTO, confined space, and electrical safety procedures Conduct inspections of mechanical and electrical systems Perform minor repairs within licensed capability Identify and report observed deficiencies Support vendor access and coordination Maintain safe work practices in accordance with site policies Technicians are responsible for maintenance execution and do not assume responsibility for system redesign, capital replacement, or production outcomes Qualifications Physical stamina and dexterity Ability to detect safety hazards and communicate with appropriate staff Reliable transportation Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments Ability to follow directions from a supervisor Ability to demonstrate professionalism Allegiance is an EOE/Veterans/Disabled/LGBT employer
