Your Impact in This Role

As a Forklift Operator, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Complete training including SMI safety standards and driving demonstration.

  • Operate and inspect forklift daily; report maintenance needs.

  • Safely fuel, clean (radiator/air filters), and maintain forklift.

  • Load/unload trucks and move materials to designated areas.

  • Track material load counts and identify cross-contamination risks.

  • Assist with plant maintenance, repairs, and housekeeping.

  • Report incidents, environmental hazards, and participate in safety investigations.

  • Wear required PPE and follow all safety and operational procedures.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

About you:

  • High school degree or equivalent by experience

  • Certificate for driving the forklift

  • Certificate First Aid

  • Technical English – read and understand
