Job Summary:

The part-time Machine Operator operates production machinery following established procedures

and guidelines. Uses computer-controlled equipment to select, position, and secure

automatic or semi-automatic machines. Adjusts machine settings to complete simple tasks

accurately and efficiently. May need a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports

to a supervisor/manager and works under the close direction of senior personnel. Has a

moderate understanding of the job and may require 0-1 year of general work experience.

Requirements

Duties/Responsibilities:

? Operate assembly, pleating, or bandsaw machinery in adherence to standard

operating procedures, work instructions, and quality standards

? Prepare raw materials or sub-assemblies for the operation of the equipment

? Execute work orders according to the production schedule

? Maintain cleanliness in the work area and ensure equipment and machinery remain

clean throughout the shift

? Swiftly move materials between workstations using pallet jacks or carts

? Skillfully operate light machinery for cutting, assembling, or packing

? Execute any other assigned duties promptly and effectively

? Adaptability to thrive in fast-paced, occasionally stressful environments

? Precise adherence to written and verbal directives

? Flexibility to adjust to production requirements

Education and Experience:

? High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements:

? Prolonged periods of standing and/or sitting at a workstation

? Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times

Available Work Schedules:

1st shift

M-F 7am - 11am (4 hours)

M-F 11am - 3pm (4 hours)

2nd shift

M-F 3pm - 7pm (4 hours)

M-F 7pm - 11pm (4 hours)
