Our 22-bed Med Surge unit is split onto two floors with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5/6 is staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Patient Sitters providing care for a variety of patients including those on dialysis, diabetes, heart disease, geriatric patients, and recovering surgical patients.

 

How you’ll contribute

A Registered Nurse (RN), who excels in this role:

 

  • Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
  • Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
  • Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
  • Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
  • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
  • Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

What we’re looking for- a compassionate nurse with an ability to provide expert and compassionate care to a diverse patient population with various medical conditions while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a nursing degree from an accredited program. Additional requirements include:

·         BLS and ACLS required

·         New grad RNs welcomed, 1 year RN experience preferred.
