Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Patrol in Wilson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare technology and communications environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious behavior, access issues, and facility concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain required activity logs, and communicate professionally with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
