Human Resources Assistant
Assist human resources managers and representatives and compile, maintain and process information relating to staffing, recruitment, training, performance evaluations and clarifications. Has responsibility for employment, insurance, Workers' Compensation and other human resource documentation, maintains records on sick leave, vacation and other absences, handles personnel-related inquiries and reference checks, may compile statistics for management's use.

o聽聽 TS 16949 Technical Specification Management and Linamar Quality Basics system standards.

o聽聽 Maintain department 5S requirements.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Coordinate the recruitment, interviewing, and selection of employees to fill vacant positions
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Plan for hiring needs by continually interviewing potential candidates
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Performs training needs analysis utilizing the employee database
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Coordinates and monitors training programs
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Coordinates and monitors performance evaluation packages for employees and tracks progress for management utilizing spreadsheets and charts
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Prepares and posts all internal and inter-company job postings
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Prepares orientation packages for new hires, transfers, promotions and terminations
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintains employee files
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Records Attendance in InfoHR system
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintains InfoHR system
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Shift rotation and/or Split shifts required
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Generates monthly personnel and HR reports

o聽聽 Reading: 5
o聽聽 Document Use: 3
o聽聽 Numeracy: 3
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 2-3 years of Human Resources Administration experience preferred
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience working in a Manufacturing environment is considered an asset
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Knowledge and experience with training processes an asset
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Demonstrated organizational skills.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Able to work in a professional and co-operative manner with co-workers and management
