Job Description

Designs and tests electrical systems for BraunAbility products.

Essential Functions

• Develop wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Support prototype builds and testing.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers on integration.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues in production.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Assist in component selection and sourcing.
• Document electrical designs and revisions.
• Perform root cause analysis for electrical failures.
• Support field service with technical expertise.
• Participate in design reviews and validation testing.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge of electrical systems and components.
• Proficiency in CAD tools for electrical design.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and safety compliance.

Minimum Requirements & Role Expectations

• Education: May require a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
• Alternate Path: An equivalent combination of education and/or related work experience equal to 6 years will also be considered.
• Leadership: Minimum of 1–2 years of leadership experience.
• Implements strategies and initiatives with a focus on departmental results.
• Manages daily operations including planning the use of materials and resources.
• Recommends policies, methods, or processes.
• Serves as expert advisor to peers and other team members.
• Processes more complex issues and exercises independent judgment with only periodic review of routine work by supervisor.
