Job Description

Designs and tests electrical systems for BraunAbility products.

Essential Functions

  • Develop wiring diagrams and schematics.
  • Support prototype builds and testing.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers on integration.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues in production.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Assist in component selection and sourcing.
  • Document electrical designs and revisions.
  • Perform root cause analysis for electrical failures.
  • Support field service with technical expertise.
  • Participate in design reviews and validation testing.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of electrical systems and components.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools for electrical design.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and safety compliance.

Minimum Requirements & Role Expectations

  • Education: May require a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
  • Alternate Path: An equivalent combination of education and/or related work experience equal to 6 years will also be considered.
