Valley Veterinary Emergency & Referral Center is a 24/7 award-winning veterinary hospital seeking experienced Licensed Veterinary Technicians. Our center is a newly renovated, 13,000+ square foot facility with dedicated staff and state-of-the-art equipment (like digital radiography and endoscopy) to offer the highest level of emergency and critical care.
Veterinary Technician (ER/CC) – CVT/RVT/LVT | $30- $40/hr
Location:Â Winchester, VA
Full-Time | 3x12s or 4/10s
$30- 40/hr | $2,500 sign- on bonus

- Three 12-hour shifts or Four 10-hour shifts
- Weekends and holidays as needed
- Relief shifts available!
- Intensive nursing care, including emergency surgeries (utilizing all skills).
- Critical case monitoring/treatments
- Emergency case management
- Assist DVMs with diagnostics and treatment plans
- Perform laboratory testing (blood, urine, cytology)
- Support imaging and patient monitoring
- Perform and monitor anesthesia and sedation
- Deliver high-quality patient and client care
- Certified, Registered, or Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT)
- Surgery experience preferred
- Emergency or critical care experience preferred
- Strong technical and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced veterinary environment
