Job Description

This role will support the Patient Access Applications (Cadence, Prelude, Grand Central, Referrals, Welcome). Prior experience in multiple applications is required for consideration for this role.

The primary role of the Team Lead is responsible for oversight, delegation, and strategic direction of analyst teams and projects.

The Team Lead is to coordinate and oversee the efforts of the reliability and innovation teams while implementing and maintaining systems and databases. This role requires a combination of leadership, management, and oversight, with a focus on team development, performance management, and adherence to healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities and Duties

Oversee and delegate all reliability and solution implementations for the team.

Educate and mentor teammates (Tier 1–3), develop and train employees.

Oversight and accountability for Nova notes work.

Project oversight, managing IT projects, and leading 4–5 innovation projects per year.

Ensure all SLA’s/KPI’s are met.

Lead meetings, resolve conflicts, and follow project plans.

Lead team in resource and capacity planning.

Possess high-level skills and serve as a resource in service now.

Expert in integrated application build, assisting vendors/customers on new initiatives.

Mentor application teams.

Attend all daily agile meetings and ensure projects are delivered on time and well tested.

Leads a team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and compliant healthcare services.

Coordinates agile work to include both reliability and innovation teams.

Adheres to on-call and downtime standards.

Oversees customer innovation work to include managing IT projects, validating timelines, updating projects/demands, IT project tools to include VTB's, Service Now, etc.

Provides feedback on employee evaluations when requested.

Application team expert in integration with third party systems (HL7, API, web services, etc.).

Active on SMO or SMO subgroup.

Tracks completed ROM every quarter, reports, reevaluates, and adjusts projections as needed.

Creates, assures accuracy of service catalog.

Serves as the release coordinator for application for both reliability and innovation work. Coordinates work with larger release management team.

Agile skill set.

Implementation and use of all Ai tools that support role.

Education

Bachelor's degree in healthcare or information technology related field or ten years or more equivalent work experience required.

Experience

A minimum of 10 years of experience as an analyst is required.

Change management experience is required.

Experience in intra-system design is required.

Experience in an IT or healthcare role is required.  

Certification & Licensure

A minimum of 5 or more certifications, badges or application equivalent training based on expertise needed to work across multiple verticals, is required. In addition to Epic certifications, certifications in other specialty fields including licensure, badges, ITIL, TOGAF, PMP cert, etc.

ITIL Foundations certification is required.

Certified Scrum Master required.

All education to include certifications should be current, and the latest version of training must be completed.

Qualifications

Effective communication skills.

Competent in Microsoft Office.

Expertise in agile methodologies.

Technical knowledge of coordinating, configuring, and building healthcare IT to drive quality improvement, meaningful use and safety goals required.

Knowledge of the regulatory requirements for health system EHR’s required.

Competencies in Microsoft Office are required.

Ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, and maintain issues lists.

Ability to serve as team ARL or Security lead.
