Job Summary:
The Warehouse Admin/Inventory Control will be responsible for maintaining documentation associated with inventory and inventory systems, including but not limited to WMS, BPCS, and SAP, and interfacing with Customers with inventory or shipment questions.Â
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining documentation associated with inventory
- Validates actual counts with system totals
- Reconciles WMS and BPCS inventory systems
- Upholds quality, safety, and cleanliness standards within the warehouse
- Performs visual quality inspections of product in the warehouse
- Develop and maintain tracking of losses due to damage, returns, etc. and communicate results to proper areas
- Act as a training resource for the warehouse team
- Communicates with other teams to ensure efficient warehouse operations
- Works with Customer Service researching shipments and discrepancies
- Creates reports and serves as a contact for Customers with Inventory and/or shipment questions
- Act as trainer for new hires in relation to transactions in inventory
- Research & communicate OS&D – (loading errors) to both Transportation & Warehouse
- Write & Maintain Warehouse SOP’s
- Monitor and communicate short-coded product to ensure sales
- Support manufacturing to ensure all Rework procedures are followed
- Assist with all inbound/outbound paperwork, errors, tracking & records for filing
- Coordinate with Warehouse, Plant & Lab for Release issues with products
- Conduct calls/conferences when necessary
- Participate with the replenishment team as needed
- Adjust work schedule for month end and year end inventories
- Order and maintain supplies needed for department
- Research and assist with Invoicing, Orders and Vendors with SAP
- Research/validate Detention information for carrier
- Update on red tag trailers repair status
- Schedule pick appointments in E2 for customer pickups
- Receive email requests from customers and their carriers requesting pickup appointments
- Reply to customer/carrier with confirmation numbers, dates, times
- Approval of departmental invoices
Education and Experience: Â
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of Distribution experience
- 3+ year Inventory Control experience
- Computer competency with Microsoft
- Attention to Detail
- Good communication Skills
