Job DetailsJob Location: Windsor Locks, CT 06096Position Type: Part TimeSalary Range: $17.50 - $17.75 HourlyDishwasher / Utility Team Member Job Description Position Title Dishwasher / Utility Team Member Position Summary The Dishwasher / Utility Team Member is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen, dish room, storage areas, and service areas. This position ensures all dishes, cookware, utensils, equipment, and workspaces are cleaned and sanitized according to health department standards while supporting the kitchen team with general utility and cleaning duties. Essential Responsibilities Dishwashing & Sanitation Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment. Operate dish machine safely and efficiently. Maintain proper chemical concentrations and dish machine temperatures. Keep dish room clean, organized, and free of hazards. Properly store all cleaned items in designated locations. Kitchen Support Assist cooks by maintaining a steady supply of clean cookware and utensils. Transport clean dishes and equipment to appropriate stations. Empty and clean food waste containers as needed. Sweep and mop kitchen floors throughout shifts and at closing. Assist with basic prep tasks when assigned. Facility Maintenance Check and empty all trash receptacles throughout the kitchen, prep rooms, hallways, and dish area. Replace trash liners as needed. Clean and maintain floor drains. Restock paper towels, soap dispensers, and sanitizing supplies. Maintain cleanliness of walk-ins, storage rooms, and utility areas. Keep mop closet and cleaning supply areas organized. Closing Duties Complete all assigned closing checklists. Ensure all dishes, cookware, and utensils are cleaned and stored properly. Clean dish machine and surrounding work areas. Sweep and mop all assigned areas. Verify all garbage has been removed and properly disposed of. Ensure dry goods deliveries and stock items are put away and organized before the end of the shift. Secure cleaning supplies and equipment. Qualifications Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to cleanliness and organization. Ability to follow health and safety procedures. Team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist others.
