Leasing Manager – Property Management

Join Our Team:Â Apartment Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated Leasing Manager to lead daily leasing office operations while delivering excellent customer service to residents and prospects. This role is ideal for someone with a background in property management, leasing, team leadership, and resident relations who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Leasing Manager will oversee leasing staff, support occupancy goals, maintain strong resident relationships, and help ensure efficient property operations.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise the daily operations of the leasing office and leasing team
- Support, coach, and train leasing staff in accordance with company policies
- Assist with onboarding and performance management of team members
- Interact with residents regarding payments, service requests, renewals, and general concerns
- Ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing regulations, and safety procedures
- Maintain communication between leasing and maintenance teams to support property operations
- Inspect grounds, common areas, vacant units, and model apartments regularly
- Coordinate move-out inspections and complete related paperwork
- Manage delinquency and resident collections through consistent follow-up
- Assist with eviction processes and appear in court as needed
- Coordinate leasing schedules and approve site payroll
- Monitor property security, key control, and office organization
- Support marketing and advertising efforts for apartment vacancies
- Communicate property updates and operational concerns to the Regional Manager
- Participate in emergency response procedures and reporting as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in property management, leasing, or residential operations
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, approachable, and team-oriented attitude
- Familiarity with leases, resident relations, and collections processes
- Experience with Yardi or property management software preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years of related experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Ability to travel between properties as needed
- Ability to walk properties, sit for extended periods, and work on a computer
- Ability to lift up to 15lbs as needed
- Professional appearance and communication skills
- Availability to work weekends and/or community events on a rotating schedule
