Position Title: Software Engineer 

Location: 175 Addison Rd, Ste. 6F, Windsor, CT 06095 and unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. 

Position Responsibilities: Design software applications in various development environments for medical devices. Enhance applications used in the current software. Perform unit and verification test development and build integration for the assigned modules. Understand and familiarize the customer’s product and the Software Development Procedure pertaining to the process workflow. Prepare, review, and deliver the requirement, design, and test protocols for the different system components. Confer with system analysts, engineers, programmers, and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Consult with customers about software system design and maintenance. Coordinate software system installation and equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met. Design, develop, and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design. Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan computer specifications and layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications. Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs and security needs to determine hardware configuration. Prepare design answer which includes solution for clearing the non-conformance with appropriate sketches, recommendations, and specifications. Deliver design assessment report for concessions. Support stress assessment team for stress verifications. 

Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field, PLUS five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related position. Experience must include demonstrable knowledge of: C++; Java; Python; Microservices; Dicom; Kubernetes; Docker; Git, and; Perforce. Travel to unanticipated client locations, throughout the U.S., approximately 30% as required. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.

Pay Range: $147,430 - $148,000

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements:

  • This role is considered an on-site position located in Windsor, CT
  • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours

Travel requirements: Travel to unanticipated client locations, throughout the U.S., approximately 30% as required.
