Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: COT NV - Winnemucca, NV 89445 POSITION IDENTIFICATION Position Title: Quality Supervisor Job Type: Hourly PURPOSE OF POSITION The Quality Supervisor will be responsible for the following activities: Ensure all processes are followed per Standard work. Ensure quality product meets or exceeds all internal & customer specifications. Set a quality example by implementing improvements through the development, execution, and ongoing refinement of Planned audits & inspections. Teach and Mentor Quality personnel, knowledge sharing. Drive Continuous Improvement for all Quality related functions through proper data recording, analysis and problem solving. Provide Quality support to production lines MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Follow all OSHA and plant safety rules including lock-out tag-out, etc. Assist in the development and documentation of Quality activities necessary to sustain the highest levels of products possible. Work with Engineering other management to resolve problems Effectively communicate issues verbally and written documentation to all concerned Perform product & process audits Help define and sustain proper 5S standards in required areas.    Teach & Coach operators to proper Quality standards. Facilitate the effective hand-off of Quality issues to your incoming shift peer. Ensure effective communication of all issues and corrective actions. Write detailed Standard Work as needed. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to all other inspectors, operators and plant personnel. Inspect products in receiving, weld, paint and assembly process. Assist Quality Management in any other requested activities. Qualifications   REQUIREMENTS Education Required: Minimum high school diploma is required. Experience working with measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, Height gauges, CMM, etc. Ability to work alone without constant supervision. Leadership skills a major plus Work Experience Required: 1~2+ years of Quality experience working with Quality Management System within a repetitive manufacturing environment. Experience troubleshooting issues. Experience with Root cause analysis and continuous Improvement Experience in Leadership       Skills & Knowledge Required: Must be able to read and interpret drawings/prints Working knowledge of Computer Based Management Systems a plus. Ability to Multi-task and perform well under pressure. Ability to work as a key member and leader of a team when required.
