Working under the direction of the Project Manager and COO, this role serves as the primary client liaison, ensures the safety of personnel and equipment, oversees survey computations, and maintains strict adherence to safety standards. Work Schedule: Nominal 10 hours per day; Monday through Saturday; Overtime may be required on short notice to attempt to meet project deadlines. Responsibilities: Perform surveys as directed by the Project Manager Oversee and manage the survey crew and daily field operations Consult with the Project Manager and/or COO regarding project execution Communicate job requirements and equipment needs to the crew Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures Act as liaison with clients, inspectors, contractors, property owners, and company representatives Organize job activities and complete all required documentation Train, mentor, and communicate effectively with team members Complete KSA evaluations for crew members Assign and oversee equipment care and maintenance responsibilities Ensure safe operation of all company equipment and vehicles Perform survey calculations, including traverses and closures Key Tasks:  Identify and adhere to all safe work procedures Conduct daily pre-task safety meetings Complete all required documentation (JSEA, daily logs, boat logs, etc.) Coordinate with the Project Manager to review project scope and requirements Consult with the Instrument Man regarding equipment, materials, and supplies Verify that all Instrument Man and Rodman duties are completed prior to mobilization Communicate project details clearly to the field crew Liaise with clients and stakeholders as needed throughout the project Maintain a working knowledge of all company surveying equipment Perform and verify survey calculations Prepare accurate and complete field notes Read and interpret plans, maps, and legal descriptions Train and supervise subordinate employees Monitor and enforce job site safety Complete employee KSA evaluations Qualifications  Minimum of five (5) years of survey experience required Ability to perform all essential duties satisfactorily Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to interpret and execute detailed written and verbal instructions Problem-solving ability in standardized work environments Proficiency in survey calculations and equipment operation Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and perform manual tasks Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 lbs regularly Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment   MPH, Inc. is an EEO employer.
