Position Summary

Position: Mobile Service Technician

Classification: Full Time 

Reports To: Service Manager

Work Locations: In person; Winnie TX


Position Summary

 

The Mobile Service Technician is responsible for providing on-site vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, software updates, and select warranty or recall services at customer homes, workplaces, or other approved locations. The technician operates a dealership-provided mobile service vehicle and delivers a luxury customer experience standards. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Travel to customer locations to perform scheduled maintenance and repair services.
  • Perform oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, filter replacements, wiper blade installation, and other routine maintenance services.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, drivability, brake, suspension, and minor mechanical concerns.
  • Complete software updates, programming, and diagnostic scans when applicable.
  • Perform approved warranty and recall repairs in accordance with guidelines.
  • Accurately document repairs, labor operations, recommendations, and customer concerns.
  • Communicate repair findings and maintenance recommendations to customers professionally.
  • Maintain inventory, tools, equipment, and cleanliness of the mobile service vehicle.
  • Ensure compliance with all dealership, manufacturer, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with service advisors, dispatch personnel, and parts departments to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience that reflects the brand. 

 

Qualifications


  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Automotive service experience required.
  • ASE certifications preferred; Master Technician certification is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair automotive systems independently.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to use diagnostic equipment, tablets, and dealership software.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical automotive repair duties.
