Hostess / Front Desk Agent

Hotel Everett & Carlisles | Winnsboro, SC

Hotel Everett and Carlisles Restaurant & Lounge are seeking a polished and personable Hostess / Front Desk Agent to serve as the face of our property during evening hours. This is a unique hybrid role combining guest services, restaurant hosting, and operational support in a refined boutique hotel setting.

Schedule

Friday – Tuesday | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Position Overview

This role is responsible for creating an exceptional first impression for both hotel and restaurant guests. You will manage front desk operations, coordinate restaurant seating, and provide hands-on support to the General Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate is organized, service-oriented, and thrives in a guest-facing environment with high standards.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Guest Experience

Greet and check in hotel guests with warmth and professionalism
Manage reservations, calls, and guest inquiries
Provide concierge-style assistance and local recommendations
Ensure a seamless and elevated arrival and departure experience

Restaurant Hosting (Carlisles)

Welcome and seat guests for dinner service
Manage reservations, pacing, and waitlists
Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff
Maintain flow and atmosphere of the dining room

Administrative & Operational Support

Assist the General Manager with daily operational needs
Support coordination of events, reservations, and guest requests
Help maintain organization of front desk systems and reporting
Uphold brand standards across both hotel and restaurant operations

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality, front desk, or hosting preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable taking initiative and supporting leadership
