The Manager of Client Relations is a nuclear industry focused role responsible for managing strategic customer relationships and driving business growth across Holtec’s portfolio. Reporting to the EVP of Business Development, this position serves as a trusted technical and commercial interface with customers, translating complex nuclear requirements into practical, value‑based solutions.
This role is best suited for professionals with a strong nuclear background, through engineering, nuclear plant operations, or nuclear‑focused technical sales, who can credibly engage with utility, EPC, and government stakeholders and lead solution development in highly regulated environments.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted technical and commercial partner to nuclear customers, engaging directly with plant engineering, operations, procurement, and executive stakeholders
- Lead customer-facing engagements by understanding complex nuclear requirements and translating them into practical, compliant, and value‑driven solutions across Holtec’s product and service portfolio
- Drive business development activities within assigned accounts, identifying opportunities aligned with customer needs, regulatory expectations, and Holtec’s strategic objectives
- Collaborate closely with internal engineering, manufacturing, quality, and site services teams to develop integrated technical solutions and support proposal development
- Lead or support the preparation and delivery of technical proposals and customer presentations, ensuring alignment with nuclear safety, quality, and compliance standards
- Support contract negotiations in partnership with executive leadership, legal, finance, and project teams, and facilitate smooth handover to project execution teams
- Maintain a deep working understanding of Holtec’s nuclear technologies and capabilities to effectively represent the company in customer discussions and industry forums
- Monitor customer priorities, competitive activity, and market trends within the nuclear sector to inform account strategy and opportunity development
- Provide ongoing post‑award support, as needed, to ensure customer satisfaction and long‑term relationship growth
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline information and prepare regular reports on account activity, opportunities, and forecasted business
- Travel approximately 25–50% to customer sites, nuclear facilities, and industry conferences to support relationship development and business growth

Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in the nuclear industry, including nuclear power generation, nuclear engineering, nuclear manufacturing, plant operations, or nuclear‑focused technical or commercial roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Nuclear, Electrical, or related discipline) strongly preferred; candidates with significant nuclear plant or field experience may be considered in lieu of a technical degree, provided they demonstrate strong technical fluency and customer‑facing capability
- Demonstrated experience operating in highly regulated environments, with an understanding of nuclear safety, quality, and compliance expectations
- Proven experience in client‑facing, relationship management, or technical business development roles supporting complex, engineered products or services
- Experience in consultative or technical sales within nuclear or similarly regulated industries (energy, heavy industrial, aerospace, defense) preferred
- Ability to effectively engage with technical, operational, procurement, and executive‑level stakeholders
- Familiarity with nuclear technologies such as dry storage of used nuclear fuel, heat transfer equipment, small modular reactors (SMRs), or high‑level waste storage and transport systems preferred
- Demonstrated ability to grow and expand customer relationships in long‑cycle, technically complex markets
- Strong business development capability with the ability to navigate complex technical and commercial challenges
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access to nuclear power facilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25–50% to customer sites and industry eventsÂ
