ZIEHL-ABEGG is looking for a high energy and results-oriented Apprentice who can be a strong contributor to our heavily expanding company. As an Apprentice, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship from experienced professionals in the field, gaining valuable skills and knowledge to advance your career.

Apprentice

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Rotate throughout departments to gain knowledge for future focus and growth.
  • Shadow departments and key personnel on a variety of skillsets to gain hand-on experience.
  • Assist skilled professionals in daily tasks and projects.
  • Learn and apply industry-specific techniques and best practices.
  • Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively under supervision.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops.
  • Document work performed and report progress to supervisors.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times.
  • Use of basic hand tools, power tools and precision measuring equipment
  • Assist with apprenticeship recruitment efforts including but not limited to school visits, open houses, invitationals, and pre-apprenticeships.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong desire to learn and develop skills in manufacturing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of tools and equipment related to manufacturing is a plus.
