Education /Experience:

The candidate needs to have a Ph.D. degree and >10 years of working experience in biochemistry/molecular biology or immunology laboratories.

Essential Functions:

The duties of this Assistant Professor of Research includes:

1) Independently carrying out research projects assigned by the PI.

2) Completing the studies proposed in the grants.

3) Generating data for publication and new grant proposals.

4) Writing and submitting research papers.

5) Assisting PI in managing lab operation and supervising junior students and postdoctoral fellows.

6) Fulfill all faculty duties required by the department and university.
