- Meet with prospective borrowers to understand their financial goals, explain mortgage options and gather the information needed for complete loan applications.
- Partner closely with processors, underwriters and mortgage team members to support a smooth experience from origination to closing.
Beyond that, your work will include staying current on lending programs and regulatory requirements, participating in community efforts that promote homeownership and providing timely updates to members and business partners.

- Professional interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with members, referral partners and internal mortgage teams.
- Ability to meet bonding requirements and complete assignments with minimal supervision in a general office environment.
Education/Certifications:
- NMLS-developed S.A.F.E. Mortgage Loan Originator Test with a score of 75% or better within one year, or equivalent proficiency based on industry experience.
You should also be comfortable balancing business development, member education and compliance-focused follow-through in a role where trust and responsiveness matter every day.
