Responsibilities:
- Perform routine daytime cleaning and maintenance of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas
- Monitor and restock restroom supplies, paper products, and soap dispensers throughout the day
- Respond promptly to spills, messes, and cleaning requests from school staff
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners in all assigned areas
- Maintain clean and presentable entryways, lobbies, and high-traffic zones
- Assist with light furniture moving, event setup, and teardown as needed
- Follow all school safety protocols and maintain a professional presence on campus
Requirements:
- Previous experience in janitorial, porter, or custodial services preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a school or institutional environment
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, self-motivated work ethic
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs throughout the shift
- Excellent communication skills and a courteous, professional demeanor
- Must be able to pass a background check required for school campus access
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance are a must
