The Utility Assembly Technician supports manufacturing and production operations by performing a wide range of assembly, equipment setup, material handling, and general utility tasks within pre-assembly and final assembly. This role helps ensure that production lines run efficiently, safely, and according to quality standards.

Utility Assembly Technician

Your main responsibilities will be:

Pre-Assembly Duties

Read and interpret technical drawings, BOMs, and work instructions for ventilation unit components.
Assemble stator and rotor components according to detailed work instructions, technical drawings, and established procedures
Follow all ESD protocols, including proper use of wrist straps, mats, and grounding techniques
Use hand tools, torque devices, and measuring instruments to perform accurate and safe pre-assembly tasks
Conduct visual and functional inspections of completed units to ensure compliance with quality standards
Identify and report product defects, equipment issues, or process deviations to appropriate personnel
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company policies, 6S principles, and safety regulations
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to support efficient workflow and continuous improvement initiatives.
Other duties as assigned.

Final Assembly Duties

Assemble various industrial fan products in accordance with detailed work instructions, technical drawings, and established procedures.
Use hand tools, torque tools, and measuring instruments to perform precise assembly tasks.
Conduct visual and functional inspections of completed units to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Identify and report product defects, equipment issues, or process deviations to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company policies, 6S principles, and safety regulations.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to support efficient workflow and continuous improvement initiatives.
Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand/power tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and measurement tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to lift up to 75lbs and stand for extended periods.
Good teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environments.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing or 5S principles.
Basic electrical or mechanical troubleshooting skills.
