ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

It is the responsibility of the Recovery Collection Specialist to take ownership of all tasks and challenges that they encounter in the operation of the assigned position.聽

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Knowledge of options available to the bank with regard to debt collection.聽 These include voluntary payment arrangements, various legal actions through courts and attorneys, and third-party collection companies.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Perform the following duties related to Loan Recovery:

o聽聽聽 Attempts to contact with customers who have charged off accounts with the bank.

o聽聽聽 Negotiate repayment terms and processes transactions, as needed.

o聽聽聽 Attend court hearings or arbitration hearings.

o聽聽聽 Produce and maintain various reports and statistics, as needed.

o聽聽聽 Utilizes various data products and the internet to locate customers

o聽聽聽 Manages legal assignments with the advice of the bank's attorneys.

o聽聽聽 Performs asset searches for the purpose of supporting legal action.

o聽聽聽 Be a source of information for all internal bank customers regarding charged off accounts.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Complete transactions, minimizing operational errors and maintaining a proper workflow.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure compliance of the branch鈥檚 security and audit procedures.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assures that Recovery records, reports and other correspondence resulting from customer contact attempts and transactions are correctly documented.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Serve customers quickly, accurately, efficiently and confidentially.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Manage potentially adversarial telephone conversations by remaining professional and courteous.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Presents a neat and professional personal appearance, in accordance with bank policy.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensures compliance with all bank policies and procedures as well as state, federal, and regulatory requirements.聽

Qualifications, Education, and Certification Requirements

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Education:聽 High School Diploma, College Preferred

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience: Previous loan collections, lending or credit administration experience


TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/CLASSES

Successful completion of probationary period. Required annual compliance training.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time. Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, and reports.聽 Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.


WORK ENVIRONMENT

This is a hybrid position utilizing both a private office or cubicle located in one of our banking centers and a telecommuting option.聽 Employee must have a secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions. They must also have a reliable private internet connection that is not supplied by use of cellular data (hot spot). Cable or fiber connections are preferred.聽 Requirements are subject to change, as new systems and technology is delivered. Travel may be required to attend departmental meetings or court hearings as needed.


In accordance with Colorado and Virginia law: Pay for this position is anticipated to be between $59,959.00 - $95,780.00 , actual offers to be determined based on applicant鈥檚 skills, experience and education.
